Ukrainian Rare Bone Centre Joins EuRREB Network
In 2026, the new Ukrainian centre for rare bone diseases at D.F. Chebotarev Institute of Gerontology (NAMS of Ukraine, Kyiv) was registered with EuRREB. Last month (February 27, 2026), Prof. N. Grygorieva and Dr D. Kurylo represented it at the annual Ukrainian conference “Beyond the Limits of the Possible” on rare diseases, held hybrid format in Kyiv.
Event Highlights
The conference united doctors and patients from across Ukraine, focusing on medical care for orphan diseases during wartime. Discussions with the Ministry of Health, National Health Service, and patients fostered collaboration among Ukrainian rare bone centers and sparked plans for new patient education initiatives.
