The Continuous Monitoring Exercise for 2024 data, involving ERN BOND HCPs (Full Members and Affiliated Partners), will be held from January 1 to February 28, 2025.

All ERN BOND HCPs are expected to complete the following step:

  • Report in the DG Sante/European Commission portal directly on 2 indicators:
    • Number of Patients
    • Use of Orphacodes
  • Complete the form on the remaining indicators provided to each HCP by the Coordination team by 14th March 2025

  1. Each HCP needs to designate a reporter and communicate the name to giuseppina.giordano@ior.it
  2. Each reporter has to create, if not yet done, an EU login account at this link
  3. Once the reporter has an EU login account, he or she must submit to ERN BOND a request to access the new monitoring platform. To do so, the reporter must use this link
  4. The ERN BOND local admin approves the request. The approval has immediate effect
  5. Once approved, the reporter can use this link to enter the EU platform

Re-Evaluation 2024/25

The Re-Evaluation Process, following the 5-Year-Evalaution has started and applies to those HCPs who had to hand in Improvement Plans (IPs) because of the evaluation process, which was conducted at the end of 2022 and during 2023. The independent evaluation body announced that a re-evaluation will be conducted. The timeline is depicted below:

  • Self-evaluation (HCPs): Start date 2nd December – End Date 12th January
  • Acknowledgement (ERN Coordinators): 19th January
  • Interviews and audits: 3rd February – 28th February

The re-evaluation will only be carried out for those core Measurable Elements (MEs), which were not scored high enough
