The 9th Multidisciplinary Unit for Skeletal Dysplasias (UMDE–ERN BOND) Meeting at Hospital Universitario La Paz will take place on Tuesday, 21 April 2026, from 09:00 to 15:00 CET, in a hybrid format (on-site at the hospital’s auditorium and online via Zoom).
This year’s programme, titled “Clinical and Molecular Diagnosis of Skeletal Dysplasias: From Research to Clinical Practice”, will focus on a multidisciplinary review of skeletal dysplasias with joint laxity.
The event will feature a guest lecture by Dr. Carlos Ferreira, from the Eunice Kennedy Shriver National Institute of Child Health and Human Development (NICHD, NIH, Bethesda, USA), who will present “Updates on Skeletal Dysplasias”.
As in previous editions, participants will have the opportunity to present and discuss unusual or complex clinical cases, fostering collaborative diagnostic insights.
Participation is free of charge and open to all specialists interested in skeletal dysplasias, including clinical and molecular geneticists, paediatricians, endocrinologists, orthopaedic surgeons, radiologists, and other professionals.
