Center for Rare and Complex Diseases (CAKS) is a brickless center that, in collaboration with all relevant specialists at Odense University Hospital, establishes and updates patient pathway descriptions for patients with rare and complex diseases.
CAKS has been operational since January 2019, and currently, nearly 900 patients are affiliated. CAKS is closely associated with the secretariat supporting ERN participation at Odense University Hospital.

With the annual meeting, we wish to support information from patient organizations, increase focus on rare diseases, the vision for CAKS, and Odense University Hospital participation in European Reference Networks.
